Limited Openings Announced for Youth Career Pathway Program Ahead of June Deadline

A new opportunity for youth seeking to jumpstart their career journeys is now open, but availability is limited and applicants must act quickly. The Ready 2 Earn (R2E) program has announced that only a small number of positions remain for its youth career pathways initiative, which is open to individuals ages 16 and older.

Program coordinators have emphasized that all required documentation must be fully completed and submitted by 6:00 PM on June 9, 2026, in order to be considered. Due to the high demand and limited program capacity, late or incomplete submissions may not be reviewed.

Application Requirements

Interested applicants must complete required forms and provide supporting documentation to verify eligibility. Among the key requirements is proof of eligibility under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, which includes the submission of the 2026 Ready 2 Earn – TANF Registration Form.

Additionally, applicants must upload essential identification documents, including:

  • A valid ID

  • A Social Security card

  • Two of the most recent pay stubs, or pay records covering the past 30 days

Participants are also required to submit the R2E Summer 2026 Student Release Form, which enables program administrators to coordinate services and support for enrolled youth.

New August Training Opportunities Highlighted

According to a newly released program flyer, participants accepted into the initiative will also have access to specialized August 2026 training opportunities in State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and Cosmetology pathways as part of the program’s Phase 2 offerings.

The flyer notes several key details about these opportunities:

  • Program start date: August 10, 2026

  • Target audience: recent graduates

  • Compensation: participants can earn $15 per hour while training

  • Requirement: completion of all required forms via three QR codes for application, eligibility, and release documents

The inclusion of paid training opportunities underscores the program’s focus on combining workforce development with hands-on experience in high-demand fields.

Strict Deadline Amid High Demand

Program leaders noted that the June 2 deadline is firm, citing limited program availability as a key reason for the strict cutoff. Officials stressed that incomplete applications or documents received after the deadline may result in disqualification, regardless of eligibility.

“The goal is to ensure that every accepted participant can fully benefit from the program’s resources,” organizers stated, highlighting the importance of timely and complete submissions.

Supporting Youth Career Development

The Ready 2 Earn program is designed to provide young people with structured pathways into the workforce, offering career readiness support, skill-building opportunities, and guidance as they take steps toward long-term employment goals.

Organizers encourage families and youth to reach out with any questions or to seek assistance during the application process to avoid delays. Support staff remain available to help applicants navigate the requirements and ensure all materials are properly submitted.

As the deadline approaches, officials say they are eager to welcome a new group of participants ready to invest in their future careers.

“We look forward to supporting youth in taking the next step toward their career goals,” program representatives shared.
