Latest News: Lead the Way Honors the Legacy of Dr. King at the 41st Annual MLK Breakfast

The Lead the Way team had the honor of attending the 41st Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast at the Columbus Convention Center this past Monday. Surrounded by community members from across Central Ohio, the team experienced an uplifting program that filled the room with purpose and a renewed commitment to carrying forward Dr. King’s enduring legacy.






The program featured Tracey Townsend as Master of Ceremonies and a powerful keynote address from Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III, introduced by


Congresswoman Joyce Beatty. The event also highlight

ed the remarkable voices of local youth—Ali Russell Jr., Rebecca Idowu, Amaiya Willis, and Naivion M. Stephens—whose inspiring speeches earned well‑deserved standing ovations.


As Lead the Way continues its mission to uplift and empower the youth of Central Ohio, the dreams and teachings of Dr. King remain a guiding light. May we always look to the leaders who paved the way as we continue this important work and strive toward a more just and hopeful future.
