Leadership Conference at Groveport Madison Cruiser Accel

On Tuesday, October 14, Dr. Kerra S. Carson and Coach Glenn Byers facilitated a presentation on leadership, overcoming adversity, and finding your passion at Groveport Madison Cruiser Accel. This gathering was the brainchild of Mr. Ty Olverson, Administrator at Cruiser Accel. By attending youth were able to secure their leadership seal, one of the seals required to graduate high school in the state of Ohio.

Dr. Kerra and Coach Glenn spoke about their personal journeys, failures, and how they discovered what it is they love to do. Youth did a couple of hands-on activities and asked questions. We also shared about Lead the Way and how it can help prepare you for your future. Youth were given an opportunity to get some LTW swag and complete the interest form.

We hope we left the youth with an understanding that it's not where you start or how many times your plans fail that really matters. It's your determination and resilience that make all of the difference. One can lead from any seat!

Thank you to Mr. Olverson and the Cruiser Accel Staff for the invitation and hospitality.
