During the week of October 26th, Early College Academy showcased their candidates for student elections. During the week, youth gave their speeches to the student body explaining how they would serve in the roles of President and Secretary. Students spent time preparing their goals for the rest of their class. The elections have encouraged youth to be interested in the power of voting to choose the representatives that they feel will address their needs. As students reach 18, they can be encouraged to participate in local elections.
