Lead The Way Students Complete NAREB Youth Financial Literacy and Leadership Academy
Lead The Way is proud to celebrate the successful completion of the NAREB Youth Financial Literacy and Leadership Academy, held July 26-31, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout the week, students participated in an immersive experience designed to develop leadership skills, strengthen financial knowledge, and expose participants to career opportunities that support economic empowerment and community growth.
The Academy provided a dynamic learning environment where students engaged in interactive workshops covering a variety of topics, including financial literacy, entrepreneurship, real estate, investing, technology, and public policy. Through hands-on activities, team collaborations, and discussions with industry professionals, participants gained valuable insights into building wealth, making informed financial decisions, and becoming future leaders in their communities.
A key component of the Academy was the opportunity for students to connect with experienced professionals, mentors, and leaders from the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). These networking experiences allowed participants to learn directly from experts while exploring diverse career pathways and leadership opportunities.
Students also collaborated on team projects and capstone presentations, applying the knowledge and skills they acquired throughout the week. These experiences encouraged critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving while building confidence in their abilities to lead and create positive change.
In addition to the educational programming, students enjoyed several cultural and recreational activities that promoted team building and personal growth. Highlights included attending Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil, exploring the Fremont Street Experience, visiting Dave & Buster's, enjoying time at the pool, and touring Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. These experiences provided opportunities for students to strengthen relationships, broaden their perspectives, and create lasting memories.
The week concluded with a graduation ceremony recognizing each participant's dedication, accomplishments, and successful completion of the Academy. The celebration marked not only the end of an impactful week of learning but also the beginning of new opportunities for future leadership and success.
Lead The Way congratulates all student participants for their hard work, commitment, and achievements. We are honored to support programs that empower young people with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills needed to build stronger futures for themselves and their communities.
