Employer Walk/Search with Groveport Cruiser ACCEL Coordinator Tyron Olverson

As a Senior Post Secondary Advisor with Lead The Way, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Groveport Cruiser ACCEL Leadership, Tyrone Olverson as we walked along S. Hamilton Road, connecting with local employers and introducing them to the mission of Lead The Way.

Our goal was simple: build relationships and create opportunities for our Youth to gain meaningful work experiences. By connecting directly with local businesses, we are working to identify employers who are willing to open their doors and provide Youth with hands-on experiences that can help them develop valuable skills, explore career pathways, and prepare for their future.

Partnerships like these are a reminder that workforce development is truly a community effort. When schools, employers, community leaders, and organizations come together, we can help remove barriers and create pathways for Youth to succeed.

Lead The Way is not just connecting Youth to opportunities—we're building the partnerships that make those opportunities possible.
